Conductor hosts two MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers for QuickBooks Desktop. Both accept a sign-in through the Conductor Dashboard (OAuth) or a Conductor secret key as a Bearer token, both have a read-only address at /read-only, and both reach the company files connected to the key’s project. The MCP guide has setup steps for each AI tool.
  • https://mcp.conductor.is/ has 51 tools, and each call makes one Conductor API request. 33 tools read: company files, company info, a search across every transaction type, payments waiting to be deposited, five report tools, customers, vendors, accounts, classes, five item types, and fifteen transaction types. 18 tools create customers, vendors, and accounts, update customers and accounts, create or update invoices, bills, received payments, deposits, checks, and journal entries, and record bill payments by check. No tool deletes or voids. Inputs use the API’s own field names, and results are compact JSON of at most 30,000 characters. The /mcp path is the same server for Microsoft Copilot Studio. See the full tool list.
  • https://code.mcp.conductor.is/ (code mode) has two tools: execute runs TypeScript the AI tool writes against the Conductor Node.js SDK, with all 262 API operations, and search_docs searches the API docs. It suits coding agents, loops, and batch jobs.
